Crime Committee Meeting, 10:30am at the PAL Center 604 N. 4th Street - Yakima. 
This is a quarterly meeting with the Yakima Police Department to discuss ideas including concerns with the Crime Free Rental Housing program. Open to all members.

Legislative Committee, 10:30 am at the YVLA Office
The legislative committee strives to keep informed of any proposed laws (good & bad) that may affect landlords. This committee works directly with the YVLA Lobbyist to either support or oppose new legislation. During election season this committee will recommend to the board of directors which candidates to support with campaign donations from the YVLA Pac Fund. Get Involved! Meeting at the YVLA office. Open to all members.

Program / Social Committee Meeting, 11:30 am Pho Tan Restaurant, 420 S. 72nd Avenue, Yakima.
The program commitee is ALWAYS looking for additional members and volunteers to help with the Monthly General Membership meetings (door greeters, set-up, and future planning). Do you have an idea for a future program speaker or topic of interest to landlords? The program committee needs you!  Open to all members.

Membership Committee Meeting, Noon, 3rd Thursday of each month
Russillo's on Track 29 (1 W. Yakima Ave)
The membership committee works to educate non-members by promoting the services offered by the YVLA. The membership committee also promotes the YVLA Rental Search to prospective tenants seeking available rentals. This committee is always seeking ideas for new benefits to offer existing members. Do you have an idea for additional benefits? The membership committee needs your expertise. Do you know a landlord that is NOT a member? Encourage them to join!
